    10-15 September 2024 - WorldSkills Lyon 2024 Autonomous Mobile Robotics Competition

              

    The 47th WorldSkills Competition will take place 10-15 September 2024 in Lyon, France. 

    Studica Robotics, a Global Partner and official equipment supplier, will be supplying the robot kits at the competition for all countries participating. 

    The challenge theme will be autonomous mobile robots in farming (agriculture). Also called field robots, there are literally thousands of potential applications in this market and competiters will each find their own solution for the challenge that will be released through the Pre-TP on C-9 months and the final TP on C-2 days.

    Studica Robotics, a Gold Sponsor and official equipment supplier, will be supplying the robot kits at the competition for all countries participating in both the AMR Competition and the AMR Junior Competition.

     



    23-25 July 2023 - WorldSkills ASEAN Singapore 2023  - Mobile Robotics Competition   - COMPLETE

       

    The WorldSkills ASEAN Mobile Robotics Competition was hosted by Singapore  in July 2023.

    Studica Robotics, a Gold Sponsor and official equipment supplier, supplied the robot kits at the competition for all countries participating. Indonesia, Phillipines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam participated.

     



    19 - 22 October 2022 - WorldSkills Mobile Robotics Competition 2022 Special Edition, Bordeaux, France   - COMPLETE

           

    WorldSkills 46 for the Mobile Robotics Competition was hosted by WorldSkills France in Bordeaux, France. 

    The challenge was based on the previously named 2022 Shanghai Test Project and now referred to the Bordeaux Test Project.

    22-26 September 2021 - EuroSkills Graz 2021 - Mobile Robotics Competition  - COMPLETE

           

    The Mobile Robotics Competition at EuroSkills was based on teams building a waste management robot, or in common terms, they had to build an autonomous robotic garbage truck that had to navigate streets with lights and road signals to pick up hazardous waste, recyclable material, and refuse, load this onto onboard containers, and deliver the materials to their appropriate waste management depots.

    Team Russia was awarded the gold medal and was also awarded the best of Europe medal.

     



    9-13 August 2021 - WorldSkills Asia Online Mobile Robotics Competition  - COMPLETE

                

    Studica and WorldSkills Asia bought you the 2021 Online Mobile Robotics Skill Competition. This competition was for WorldSkills Asia (WSA) members and all other International Member Countries

    This competition is lightly based on the Shanghai Challenge and meant to help MOs prepare for Shanghai 2022.

    27-29 July 2021 - WorldSkills Asia Online Mobile Robotics Junior Competition  - COMPLETE

         

    Studica and WorldSkills Asia presented the 2021 Online Mobile Robotics Junior Skill Competition. This competition was open to all WorldSkills Asia Member and Guest Countries for students between the age of 14 and 16.
     

    This online challenge was based on the Waste Management Autonomous Robot Challenge with modified Performance Requirements. The main goal of the challenge requires competitors to build robots able to be managed in both a teleoperated and autonomous control format.

     



    14 to 18 June 2021 - WorldSkills International Mobile Robotics Online Skill Challenge - COMPLETE

          Brought to you by WorldSkills International and Studica, this challenge was designed for and open to all international member countries to provide an online competition platform and experience for their students for 2021. It was meant to help develop skills in the area of autonomous mobile robotics and automation. Competitors built an autonomous robot through the process of design, and the understanding of mechanical and electronic systems, controls, and programming. Participants gained an understanding of the key skills needed to pursue a career in robotics such as knowledge of autonomous navigation, engineering, electrical systems, computing technology, and more.
